International Soccer Draft for ages 3-8

STARTS (FEB 3RD 2024):

The "International Soccer Draft" program is designed to provide our youth with a unique memorable soccer experience that includes learning the game AND about different countries. Once you sign up, your player will be DRAFTED as #1 to represent one of 6 countries. The players will wear a uniform representing their drafted country. Sessions will consists of (30 min of basic soccer skills training, 15 min of instructional learning, and 30 min game time against inhouse teams. After the games, we will cool down and recap what they learned about the country during the session. We may bring in a foreign speaker from time to time.

Possible countries a player can be drafted by:

Brazil, England, France, Germany, Italy or Spain.

What's included for $85 ( LeBlanc Foundation is offsetting the cost to bring the price down)

The draft ceremony with foreign guest and VIPs. This will be the actual kickoff event, where each player gets drafted and receives their uniform (2hrs)
(6) 1 1/2 hr Sessions of basic skills training and games (The training is to give the players basic skills to start playing games)
Full uniform (Jersey, shorts and socks). These uniforms are actually NFHS sanctioned and NCAA legal.
LOANER BALL (We will provide each player with a ball during the session when needed)
For the last session, we will schedule a round robin game for the community to see. Our very own mini WORLD CUP!! (See below about participating in the 2023 Alabama State Games)

POSSIBLE (Optional) EXTRAS

(NO COST) A few of the sessions may take place at Fort Novosel. We are coordinating to play a few games against their 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8 year old teams. This would only be a bonus to the program.
ALABAMA STATE GAMES (JUNE 7th-9th in Birmingham AL). On Friday the 7th, we would like to have the players march in the opening televised Olympic style ceremony IN UNIFORM, representing the south. We are also coordinating to put in a special category and conduct our WORLD CUP FINAL during the state games on Saturday the 8th. (EACH PLAYER WILL ALSO RECEIVE A STATE GAMES T-SHIRT AND A MEDAL). (This event may cost $20 per player, and will require a 1 night hotel stay)
