The foundation has partnered with several companies, to be able to administer the school curriculum as an after-school program. We selected VEX robotics because they have a system that can take a child from pre-K to college level. As we get familiar with the concept, and find interest, we can start to build teams to compete in competitions.
VEX 123 is an interactive, programmable robot for pre-K to 2nd graders. The thinking skills provide a new and exciting way to learn math, express ideas, and communicate with their friends. They begin to become creators— as opposed to just consumers — of technology.
